Germany votes to boost rescue fund
BERLIN -- German lawmakers(立法者、國會議員) on Thursday overwhelmingly (壓倒性)approved expanding the powers of the eurozone(歐元區) bailout fund, a major step toward tackling the sprawling debt crisis, in a vote that also helped strengthen Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition government.
A group of women are defending their right to raise their children in a society that ostracizes unmarried mothers.
          固定的表現法be quoted as saying:
All 40 passengers were killed when a tourist bus skidded off a road in the Himalayan foothills and plunged into a river, police officials were quoted as saying Wednesday.
“There are concerns about China’s military buildup,” Rice told a television interviewer from Hanoi, Vietnam, where she is attending a regional economic summit with President George W. Bush. “It’s sometimes seemed outsized for China’s regional role.” (AP)
“After Prime Minister [Shinzo] Abe took office in Japan, our relationship has improved,” Zhang was quoted as saying. (AFP)
通常用動詞said, added, announced, declared, explained, pointed out, reported等或介系詞according to來表明是誰提供的資訊,如下例:
In a pitch to lawmakers and the American people, Bush said the United States will keep the onus on the Iraqi government to take charge of security and reach a political reconciliation. (AP)
Japan has joined the United States and South Korea in agreeing not to recognize North Korea as a nuclear weapons state, the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday. (AP)
The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Japan has joined the United States and South Korea in agreeing not to recognize North Korea as a nuclear weapons state.
